Fred Balsom is a tremendous supporter of the Dialysis Unit. Mr. Balsom is dialysis patient, who at the age of 84, started making models last year of the Newfoundland Dory and selling them to raise funds for the local dialysis unit. He also painted pictures which were put on tickets to help raise additional funds. His dories and pictures can be purchased for $20.00 at Ibex Fuels and Flower Country in Grand Falls-Windsor.
