Here at the South and Central Health Foundation it is all about building healthier communities, one project at a time. We, the staff and Board of Directors at the Foundation, thank all our Jeans Day partners on behalf of the people they have helped with their contribution!

Through our projects in 2011 we have seen many lives changed for the better. In particular the development of a community palliative care room, fully equipped with a specialized air zone bed, pain control equipment and furnishings, permits family members to spend the time needed with their loved ones in a nurturing environment. Among other purchases were a Portable Ultrasound for the Emergency Room; a Neopuff (pediatric life support machine) for our Cardiopulmonary Department, a Bladder Scanner for our OR and ER departments in addition to refurbishing several family waiting rooms within the CNRHC and many other amazing pieces of equipment and services, some introduced to Central Health for the very first time.

We are thankful for your continued partnership with us, and our Jeans Day program, in helping us provide the best possible healthcare here at home to the people of the south and central regions of our province. I welcome any suggestions that you may have regarding our Foundation in your community. If you know of a way in which we can improve, please share it with us by contacting our Development Officer at 292-2393.
